ABOUT THE PROJECT

The interior of this project is an intriguing blend of elements drawn from a variety of styles. There is a clear Scandinavian influence reflected in the warm wood finishes, pristine white-grey walls, built-in furniture pieces, and cozy, inviting decor. The principles of minimalism are evident in the elegantly designed kitchen that is seamlessly integrated into the living room area as well as the subtle, understated colour palette used throughout the space. Classic style is represented in the decorative wall mouldings and the plush, soft furniture pieces.

CLIENT

The design of the space mirrors its owner - a sophisticated woman with fiery red hair and a refined, exquisite taste. She is a true embodiment of modern classicism, and her personality and style are thoughtfully reflected in each element of the interior design.

RESULT

The apartment was carefully redesigned for optimal use of space. The previously long, functionless corridor was replaced with a guest bathroom and a closet niche opposite the front door. The kitchen received special attention, with the goal of creating a functional space with ample storage for utensils.

The kitchen set includes specific spots for all necessary items, and it features a central kitchen island that doubles as a dining area. A wine cabinet is also included at the end of the island. For a bold, masculine touch, Soft Touch black kitchen facades and a countertop made of durable, antibacterial Italian burnt stone, Lapitec, were used.

Shelves with backlighting for storing spices and small jars serve as the kitchen's main decorative feature.

The private areas of the apartment are well-planned, including a cozy bedroom, a bathroom, a spacious workspace, closets for clothing storage, and an additional relaxation area on the insulated balcony, usable year-round. Durable materials were used for the apartment's finish.

The corridor and kitchen walls are made from HPL panels that mimic wood, lending a cozy atmosphere. Ceramic granite at the front door adds extra durability. Accent walls and certain ceiling sections in the living room and bedroom feature decorative plaster under concrete for a modern look.

The furniture is a dark wood shade, complementing the wall panels. The apartment also houses various art pieces that highlight the owner's minimalist lifestyle.
