ABOUT THE PROJECT

Located in the heart of the capital, this two-level penthouse exudes a masculine charm.

CLIENT

Designed for a young bachelor who frequently travels but always looks forward to returning to his welcoming home, this apartment offers a rugged yet homely environment. It is carefully planned and concise, reflecting the modern male living space.

RESULT

Churina Design studio meticulously planned every meter of this two-level penthouse to cater to the owner's needs. The first floor is purposed for social gatherings, parties, and family dinners. It features a living room with two large sofas that can transform into a home cinema, along with a spacious kitchen and dining area.

The living room opens up to a terrace that offers a magnificent city view. Situated by the panoramic window, the dining area's soothing color scheme encourages warm interactions. The spacious kitchen is functional, with all appliances hidden from view. It has ample space for cooking and storing dishes.

The kitchen's glass doors and inserts in the cabinets give the interior a light and graceful feel. The apartment's masculine character is highlighted by the choice of finishing materials. Large-format tiles with a rust texture lend a rugged touch to the interior.

The first-floor guest bathroom features an industrial style, with large-format tiles on the walls mimicking patinated concrete. The second floor is the owner's personal space, housing areas for solitude. A bright accent is provided by a coffee table by Jaime Hayon in the mini-library.

This floor also contains a spacious bathroom, bedroom, wardrobe with laundry, and a small library. The bathroom, with its large bath by the panoramic window and abundance of indoor plants, resembles an oasis. Large sliding doors separate it from the main space.

The bedroom's main decoration is a geometric ceiling made of asymmetrical triangular forms. These descend to the headboard and hide soft lighting behind them.
